Sonnet Kratos was designed to emulate the sound of a hybrid tube + solid state amp, without the lifespan of using a tube. The input FET of the Kratos was designed high voltage, emulating the properties of a tube. The MOSFET output lends the amplifier a more intimate, and highly intelligible and detailed output. The overall sound of the Kratos is bodied, slightly warm and dense with all the detail you can expect from a hybrid amplifier. 

The Sonnet Kratos is a monoblock power amplifier designed to deliver pure, uncompromising amplification with Sonnet’s signature analog-like musicality. Built in the Netherlands by Cees Ruijtenberg (founder of Metrum Acoustics).
